Beeswax has incredible benefits. It is truly a remarkable renewable resource. Not to mention, our ecosystem would drastically alter without bees.

Beeswax is naturally non-toxic, carcinogen and pollutant-free. Did you know most store bought candles are made with paraffin wax, which is chemically processed and toxic for us to breathe in because it releases black soot and toxic chemicals like formaldehyde, benzene, and toluene into the air! These are known carcinogens that can cause headaches, respiratory problems, and more! Even if a candle is advertised as an alternative kind of wax, like soy for example, it’s highly likely these candles are still made with processed fragrances, still making it unhealthy for us to breathe in and can lead to developmental and reproductive harm. These toxic candles are polluting our home and health.

The Light of Life aromatherapy candles are made with a blend of beeswax and coconut oil which is the healthiest and cleanest option for you and your home. Not only is it naturally derived and a renewable resource, but when burned, the beeswax releases negative ions into the air which helps to purify your air! These negative ions attach to positive ions like dust, pollen, mold, odor, and toxins in your home! When lit, beeswax candles emit a beautiful glow similar to that of the sun, creating an uplifting atmosphere. Beeswax also burns longer and slower than other waxes.

The Light of Life also uses all natural hemp wicks. Hemp wicks are produced by working hemp fibers into twine and then coating it with beeswax. The hemp wicks provide a hotter burning wick, contains no toxic chemicals, no acids, no pesticides, no PVC, no BPA, no formaldehyde, no dioxin, and no heavy metals, and produce little to no smoke. Your candles will last longer and the burning experience will be more pleasant. Hemp wicks are environmentally sustainable and are a renewable resource!
